What’s this all about?

I can’t quite recall when 12 Points Type came into being, but I believe it was sometime in 2001. I studied Digital Type and Typography in grad school, and ran the Society of Typographic Aficionados for about a year. After I burned out on that, I decided to try my hand at making digital fonts. I had already co-owned my own web design company (@bsolute url, – keep in mind this was 1998) so I knew I needed a web presence for my type foundry. As time wore on, my letterform drawings did not get digitized (still in progress,) but my other interests kept creeping up. To wit, I use this space as a catch-all for my digital/creative career. So in the portfolio tab, you can see my photography (B.F.A. Fine Art Photography, 1995, RIT) my graphic (print) design, as well as links to my latest web designs.
